This is the Privacy Policy of the mobile application STOREE (“STOREE”, “App” or “Service“), developed and owned by eigenlinks B.V. (“eigenlinks”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company having its address at Kastanjelaan 400, 5616 LZ Eindhoven, The Netherlands and being registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 75345579.

eigenlinks always puts your privacy first and ensures that:

  • We clearly state at any given time, to what purposes we process personal data. We do this by means of this Privacy Policy.

  • We limit the collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for the stated and approved (by you) purposes.

  • We always ask for explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required.

  • We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also require this of third parties that process your personal data in regard to our Service.

  • We respect your right to and will provide your personal data for inspection, correction and deletion at all times.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect information in relation to our mobile application STOREE. We collect this information when you download and use STOREE onto your mobile device (“mobile device“ or “device“). We process personal data in a manner that is in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR“), the GDPR-based legislation and the other current privacy legislation.

Our Privacy Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service (“End-Users“, “you“ or “your“). If you do not agree with the terms, do not access or use the Service.

1. About STOREE

STOREE is a piece of software created to facilitate the organization of online shopping. It is used to create overviews and order-related reminders based on order confirmation emails.

By sending, forwarding or letting send your order-related emails to your @storee.email email address, you receive a clear and concise overview of your online purchases. You will be able to access all orders made online in one single interface across all different shops you have purchased from. Interactive options and features will help you to organize your purchases in an easy and time-efficient manner.

2. What kinds of information do we collect and how do we use it?

In the following we provide an overview of the information that is accessible and collected by us when you use STOREE (“User Content“). Any other information you enter into the app, which is not explicity stated otherwise below, is encrypted on your device before leaving it, with a key that only you can access (“client-side encryption“), to the effect that we cannot access this information.

Using STOREE, when you create an account

3. Which third party services do we use?

Google Firebase Cloud Messaging

We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for functional messages and notifications, such as order status updates, reminders and marketing notifications. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging is restricted by the Google APIs Terms of Service, the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. You can customize and opt-out of notifications at Settings – Notifications.

Google Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics with Google Signals to measure traffic and usage trends and to improve the user experience of the Service. Firebase Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your device, to collect your log information and behavior information in an anonymous form. We collect and use this analytics information with analytics information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Firebase Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics for Firebase Terms of Service, the Google Analytics for Firebase Use Policy, the Google Ads Data Processing Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. You can always opt-out of Google Firebase Analytics at Settings – Other.

Google Firebase Crashlytics

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to resolve bugs and improve the stability of the Service. You can always opt-out of Google Firebase Crashlytics at Settings – Bug reporting.

Google Sign-In / Google APIs

We use Google APIs to enable you storing your recovery key with Google. If you choose to store your recovery key with Google, your key is stored in a restricted space within your Google Drive. Access to the restricted space in your Google Drive is granted via Google Sign-In (Google OAuth 2.0 Consent Screen). Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Sign-In / Google APIs is restricted by the Google APIs Terms of Service, the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. STOREE’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. If you use Google Sign-In to store your recovery key, you grant the App access to the following information:

4. How is this information shared?

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside eigenlinks.

Change of control

If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of eigenlinks or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

Legal requests and preventing harm

We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

5. Safety and security

eigenlinks has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures by using the latest technologies to protect your information against loss or unlawful processing. We use safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Service secure and take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. However, eigenlinks cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to eigenlinks or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. We request you to do your part to help us. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and eigenlinks, at all times. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.

6. International transfer

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside Netherlands and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information to The Netherlands. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

7. Retention period

In accordance with the law, eigenlinks does not retain data any longer than is required for attaining the purposes for which they were collected.

If you wish to know which of your data eigenlinks has recorded or if you wish to amend or remove data that you cannot amend via your account, please contact eigenlinks.

9. Third-party applications, websites and services

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any applications, websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Service to another application, website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party applications, websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party application, website or service, including those that have a link on our Services, are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party app, website or service and you allow them to access your User Content you do so at your own risk.

10. Children’s privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children“). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may modify or update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you via the App of any changes and post the new Privacy Policy on https://storee.app/privacy-policy-app (also accessible from the App under Settings – Privacy policy). You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on https://storee.app/privacy-policy-app.
